Getting Started

How do I log a meal?

To log a meal, tap the "Log" button in the bottom navigation bar. You can either take a photo of your meal for AI-powered analysis, or manually enter your food items. The app will automatically calculate the nutritional information including carbohydrates.

How does AI meal analysis work?

When you take a photo of your meal, our AI technology identifies the foods in your image and estimates portion sizes. It then calculates the nutritional content including calories, carbs, protein, and fat. You can review and adjust the results before saving.

How do I log blood glucose?

Tap the "Glucose" tab in the bottom navigation, then tap the plus button to add a new reading. Select the type of reading (fasting, pre-meal, or post-meal), enter your blood glucose value, and save. You can also set reminders to help you remember to check.

Privacy & Account

Is my data private?

Yes. Your health data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Meal photos are temporarily processed for AI analysis but are not permanently stored. For complete details, please see our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account and data?

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all your data by uninstalling the app. This will permanently remove all meal logs, glucose readings, and settings from your device.

Subscriptions

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select Glow Glucose to manage or cancel

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

If you've previously subscribed and are using a new device, your subscription should automatically restore when you sign in with the same Apple ID. If it doesn't appear, go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases."

Troubleshooting

The AI isn't recognizing my food correctly

For best results with AI meal analysis:

  • Take photos in good lighting
  • Capture the entire plate or meal in the frame
  • Avoid blurry images
  • You can always manually adjust or add items after analysis

I'm not receiving reminders

Make sure notifications are enabled for Glow Glucose:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap "Notifications"
  3. Find and tap "Glow Glucose"
  4. Ensure "Allow Notifications" is turned on
